Celebrating its 8th year, DomCon is America’s Premier Professional and Lifestyle Domination Convention. Join the world’s Top Dominatrices, Bondage & Fetish Models, Webmasters, Fetish Photographers, Performing Artists, Educators, Leatherfolk and Lifestyle People at DomCon, May 18-22 in Los Angeles.
Dom Com 2011 brings together those in the BDSM, Leather, Fetish and Professional Communities to share common interests, celebrate diversity and promote awareness through education with demonstrations, seminars, and panel discussions.
Mistress Cyan began the event as a result of the disparity and disassociation between those involved in Professional Domination and those in “The Lifestyle”. Wanting to do something that would help bridge that gap between the two communities and make it more united, she developed the concept of DomCon.
In August 2003, The Beverly Garland Hotel in North Hollywood was chosen as the location to host DomCon LA 2004. America’s Top Professional Dominatrices, Switches, submissives and Fetish Models registered to attend, and even some from Europe and Tokyo, Japan sent their registrations. Soon thereafter, Exhibitor Booths sold out and what began as a Los Angeles regional event quickly became a National Event within 60 days.
Beginning in 2005, DomCom has alternated between Los Angeles and Atlanta.
This year DomCon comes home to Los Angeles for year number eight, and it’s fifth year returning to the prestigious Hilton Hotel LAX. With the addition of The Fetishist Social and The VIP Socil, DomCon LA is sure to surpass all others, and with Mistress Cyan taking over the dungeon formerly known as Passive Arts (now known as Sanctuary Studios LAX), the Friday and Saturday play parties and Fetish Ball should be over the top!
Industry insiders arrive May 18th for a seminar. For those not in the industry, there will be an “Early Bird Cocktail Social” in The Hilton Lounge from 8-10pm.
The Mistress Dinner is scheduled for Thursday evening May 19th at 6pm and is being hosted by Mistress Cyan. The Dinner is open to all the Ladies who identify as “Dominant Women” and one guest. Professional and Lifestyle Ladies are welcome to attend. This is a great way for new Ladies atending the event to meet others, including the organizers and Guests of Honor.
Cost is $40 per person and includes the meal, tax and gratuity. Pre-registration is required and attendance is limited to 40.
Friday Night May 20th DomCon presents the largest Play Party of the year in Los Angeles at one of the largest and most prestigious Dungeons in the country, the 7000+ square foot Sanctuary Studios. Sanctuary Studios is located just 1/2 mile away and minutes from The Los Angeles Hilton LAX where the convention is being held.
A free shuttle for DomCon LA attendees will be running between The Hilton LAX and Sanctuary Studios all evening. Full Access Attendees and VIP Guests admitted at 8:30pm, All others after 9pm.
Advance tickets are $20 and are available online, or at The DomCon LA Registration Booth located in The Lower Lobby of The Hilton LAX. Tickets will also be available the night of the event at the door for $25 at Sanctuary Studios located at 10914 S La Cienega Blvd., Los Angeles (Lennox), CA 90304.
Friday and Saturday there are numerous classes and workshops to attend, and vendors in the exhibitor hall.
“We had a difficult time coosing this years curriculum due to the large number of submissions. With well over 120 classes and workshops to choose from, we narrowed it down to to include something for everyone. There are classes for the beginner, intermediate and advanced player, educational seminars for both novice and experienced, and a number of hands on classes to help you with proper technique,” said Mistress Cyan.
Sanctuary Studios, the host for this year’s Play Party and Fetish Ball, will be offering free shuttle service between the Hotel and Sanctuary Studios for those wishing to rent their facilities for private sessions. For Professional Dommes, the room rental cost will be a very special $ 60 per hour which includes use of any toys in the equipment room. One of the fun highlights of the event is the Pet Awards which will be held Saturday May 21st at 4pm in Classroom “C”.
The contest is open to all pets; dogs, puppies, cats, kitties, lions, tigers, ponies, snakes,abd even duckbilled platypus!!! All are welcome! We also have a few pet masks if you don’t have a costume. They will have Handlers for pets that need help in the show. The focus will be on having a good time!
Mistress Ellen will be awarding Blue Ribbons for 1st place, Red Ribbons for 2nd place, and White Ribbons for 3rd place in the following categories..,

- Best Behaved Pet
- Best Costume
- Best Pet Trick
Each contestant will be given 30 seconds to get their pet to show off his/her vocals, tricks, best walk. most obedient, best dress, etc. Mistress Ellen will be there to help with pets.
Saturday Night May 21st join for a night of decadent dance, fetish fantasy and HOT BDSM at Sanctuary Studios. The DomCon LA Fetish Ball will feature a Fetish Fashion Show and special stage appearances by some of America’s Top Dominas.
Special guest DJs will spin a wide array of Gothic, Dark Wave, Industrial, Trance, Dark Eighties and Alternative for all The Lost and Tortured Souls in the Dungeon. Don’t forget to bring your toy bags as the Dungeon will be open for play all night long. A free shuttle for DomCon LA attendees will be running between The Hilton LAX and Sanctuary Studios all evening.
Arrive early for The Fetishist Social at 8pm and socialize before the Fetish Ball begins. Those attending the Fetishist Social in Atlanta had so much fun, the decision was made to add it to the agenda for DomCon LA in 2011. Fetish attire is a must – no jeans, t-shirts or casual attire will be admitted (there is no dress code for The Fetish Ball at 9pm and casual attire is permitted after 9pm). There is no additional charge to attend The Fetishist Social, but a DomCon Fetish Ball ticket is required. Tickets for The DomCon Fetish Ball can be purchased in advance for $20 online or at the DomCon Registration Booth located in the lower lobby of The Hilton LAX. Tickets will also be available at the Sanctuary Studios door on the night of the event.
The Mistresses Tea has become one of The DomCon favorites over the years. Originally hosted by the late Sabrina Belladonna at the first DomCon LA in 2004, The Mistress Tea has become a tradition and has been presented at each and every DomCon in LA and Atlanta ever since. This Sunday afternoon Tea is open to all The Mistresses, both Professional and Lifestyle, to meet and mingle in a casual environment as they are served by submissive males and maids as the convention winds down.
