Recently a group from the gay community went to a government official and told him that they were the leaders of the GLBT community. Fuck that shit, I want to know who appointed them and when did that memo go out?
Frankly, I think we all can speak for ourselves, and we do a pretty good job of it. But if we can’t, we have great grassroots groups here in AZ that you can lend your voice to.
What gives a small group (who are obviously small minded, but have large egos-you know who you are) the audacity to push their way into someone’s office and state: ”If you want anything done in the gay community then you need to come to us.” REALLY, fuck you! I’m not a leader and I don’t speak for anyone but me, my job is to help folks in my community, not hijack them for my own gain.
WE ARE ALL WELCOME TO THE TABLE! It’s not a setting of 10 or 12 of the self- appointed “leaders.”
